Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel CarHag online at any time, in a couple of clicks, without contacting anyone.

How to cancel

Log in, open your name in the top right, choose Billing, then Cancel plan on Stripe's secure page. Your plan stops renewing right away and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. You get an email from Stripe confirming the cancellation.

Free trial

New members can get one 7-day free trial, one per person. A payment card is required to start it. If you cancel before the 7 days are up, you are not charged anything. If you don't, the plan you picked starts and your card is charged automatically.

Free pass

A free-pass link gives 3 days of access without a card. Nothing renews and nothing is charged; when the pass ends, you choose whether to subscribe.

Renewals

Monthly plans renew every month and yearly plans every year, plus any applicable taxes, until you cancel: Basic at $24.99 a month or $249.99 a year, Pro at $49.99 or $499.99, and Dealer at $99.99 or $999.99. Stripe emails a receipt for every charge. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change, and the new price applies only from your next renewal after that notice.

Refunds

Payments cover the period you paid for and are not refunded for unused time, except where the law requires it. We do refund billing mistakes: if you were charged after you cancelled, charged twice, or charged the wrong amount, email us within 30 days of the charge and we'll refund it to your card. Refunds usually show on your statement within 5 to 10 business days.
